In a transition from a career in business writing for 20 years, I wanted to write about a secret passion that I've enjoyed for about as long as my business career. In all of my travels, the one constant that I have found as I have travelled around the world was food. It’s not just the consumption of it, but the romance that every culture, every city, as well as our families and each individual has with it. My best memories are connected to friends and family as we all gathered to share our special moments. We always look forward to indulging in both the pleasures of the season's flavors and each other's company.
Over the past 20 years, I’ve travelled from coast to coast and continent to continent. And I have found that there are basics to culinary heaven and hometown style favorites. It’s difficult to pick which is my favorite because I enjoy it all. So let’s toast to those great chefs who have come and gone and left behind recipes that continue to fascinate us!
I want to share with you some of my own taste testing experiences, "how to" recipes and entice you to try them. Stay in touch for easy and tasteful recipes that you can make in your own kitchen, by clicking on the subscribe button at the top of this article. Add your comments about your experiences and share your own memories with me.
